Best resource map workflow
- Pick one target craft before you open the map.
- Check whether the material is shallow, deep, harvestable, scannable, or tool-gated.
- Group nearby resources into one route.
- Leave inventory space for the main item.
- Mark a return landmark before following a deeper marker.
Farming routes and respawn notes
Do not build a route around one old respawn claim during Early Access. Resource behavior, marker names, and nearby hazards can change. Use the map as the current route check, then keep the run flexible if a node or plant is missing.
Upgrade materials to group
Depth Module, Tadpole upgrades, Portable Oxygen Generator, Rebreather, and base systems often share route planning needs. If you are already going deep for one item, check whether Atacamite, Troilite, Axum Bacterial Culture, or Metal Farm progress can fit the same trip.
Low-spoiler route planning
Search for the one material you need, then stop. Avoid browsing every late-game marker if your goal is only a battery, oxygen, base, or depth upgrade.
